Casino Night Checklist – 10 Essential Tips for a Successful Casino Night

Planning a casino night is hard work. You’ve got to make sure that every aspect of the event is planned properly if you want everything to run smoothly. While organizing a casino event can seem intimidating at first, it doesn’t have to be. Here are 10 simple tips to help you make planning your casino night a breeze.

1. Make sure everybody’s invited.

Don’t forget any invites! There’s nothing worse than having a friend ring you up the morning after, hurt and dejected, wondering why he wasn’t included in the fun.

2. Offer fun/popular casino games.

If you want to ensure your night is as fun and exciting as possible, offer games you know everyone will like. What do you and your friends play when you go to the casino? Roulette? Blackjack? If nobody likes craps, don’t have a craps table. Pick games everyone will enjoy.

3. Hire high quality casino equipment.

Nobody wants to play on plastic tables, and nobody wants to spend a whole night sitting on lawn chairs. On the same hand, nobody wants to munch on ramen noodles. If you want to ensure your guests are comfortable and having a good time, provide quality casino tables, accessories, and refreshments.

4. Have a theme for the night.

Make sure all of your guests get involved by making your casino night a themed event. Have a sports casino night- get everyone to wear their jerseys, and watch the game while you enjoy exiting table games. That way, everyone feels like they are actively participating in the event.

5. Create a great atmosphere.

A great atmosphere will add to the casino night experience. If you’re having a themed casino night, make sure the decorations and lighting in the room match the theme. If you’re having a traditional casino night, make sure you decorate appropriately. You want your party to be memorable- creating a unique environment for your guests will keep them talking.

6. Make it competitive.

The name of the game is participation- you want everyone to be involved, and to have fun. What better way to do that than to hold a casino tournament? See who can win the most chips in a certain amount of time. Or, have a round-robin blackjack tournament. As an incentive, have everyone chip in to buy the winner a 6-pack. Everyone will love it.

7. Match the music with your theme.

Every great event needs a soundtrack, but you’ve got to make sure the environment and the music match up. If you’re having a Robo-Cop casino night, don’t play Leona Lewis all night long. If you’re having a traditional Las Vegas casino event, U2 might not work.

8. Offer beverages and snacks.

This one’s a no-brainer. Every great party offers food and drink. You don’t have to break the bank buying all your guests 5-course meals. You should, however, offer chips and pop at the very least. People like to munch at parties, especially where there’s beer involved. Don’t deny your guests of that simple pleasure!

9. Don’t be your own dealer.

Electing yourself to deal the cards at your casino night is a terrible idea. Electing a friend is even worse. Hire a professional dealer to ensure that all your games run smoothly, so that you and your friends can focus on goofing around.

10. Don’t take it so seriously!

Don’t worry about all the little details you think might be important. Chances are, nobody will much care what sort of throw rug you put on the floor for your party. Worry about the big stuff, and the little stuff will take care of itself. Remember- it’s all about fun!
